Engen is looking for 2 Inbound Scheduler who is has good ability to perform work with the end in mind and knowing what/how to prioritize. The purpose of the job is to To contribute in the optimization of the distribution scheduling operations by collecting performance data, ensuring that the correct bulk fuel products are : Inbound Scheduleduled to be available at the depots and scheduled for delivery to the customer by means of order generation and fulfilment routing and scheduling.
Duties
Customer/Service Provider & Contractor Interface
- Interact with customers and service providers
- Work with contractor to ensure deliverables are met Provide internal support to the contractor
Compliance to Performance Contract
- Weekly feedback on performance deliverables Contract
- Identify development areas and take initiative to close gaps
- Manage workload/time to enable execution of IDP

Planning & Scheduling
- Forecasting schedule depicting per location the product
- In Transit / In Storage / Committed (outbound)
- Replenishment Plan vs Sales Forecast Daily progression sheets per storage facility indicating available inventory, planned receipts and daily demand balance to requirements (7 days).
- Daily Delivery schedule by depot indicating requirements by Product/ Customers/ Quantity/ Resources
- Replenish Order creation Point-to-Point on time and correct. Business continuity. Relevant to rail, road and pipeline, submitted within SLA.
- Convert Forecast to Replenishment Plan for weekly cycles
- Monitoring of Ops notices and react to plan immediately when available
- Nil penalties incurred, demurrage and vehicle standing time due to planning errors
- Monthly report indicating:- to plan Depots stocks equal inventory targets e.g. 7 days at all storage facilities at the most economic level:- Standards, CPL Indicator, Landed Cost, Diseconomy
Responsibilities
- Managing time during busy periods of the month / year.
- Able to handle several different duties at one time
- To maintain consistent communication to internal and external customers
- Learning about a broad range of equipment and contractors in the Retail Petroleum Industry
- Troubleshooting workorders and finding solutions for justification.
- Operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear
Requirements
- NQF Level 6 (Road Transport)
- 3 years+ in Fuel industry.
- Petro-chemical (Operations/Commercial & Retail)
- Operations/Distribution business processes
- Transport Operations/Fuels Distribution
- Customer order fulfilment/Marketing principles
- SAP – TD, SD & HR
- SAP MM
- Knowledge of HSEQ
